HEXXP commissions part one…

I think I killed my will to draw for a while.  If you’re confused as to why some of the anime characters don’t have the right face.. it’s because I offered to draw people as their favorite characters.  So I took a picture of their face and drew them in.  Some people preferred to be with their characters.  Either way, next time I need to price them higher so I get less requests.  I had to turn people down, I felt really bad.  Overall, it was a nice experience.. real self esteem booster to know people really liked my art.

I made a quick sticker of javik.  I like that 12 fits very nicely on a 8.5x11 page… although it’s pretty scary to look at…with those many judging eyes.  I also like that my watermark fits very perfectly on the side of his head… 

Hello followers!!  I’m not sure how many of you live in Hawaii (out of 700 somebody must..), but next weekend there will be a Honolulu Entertainment Expo happening in Aloha Tower.  If you like fashion, anime, sci-fi, video games, film… basically anything entertainment.. you should come and stop by my booth!!

I’ll have a very limited selection of prints and stickers.  Because of my whole living situation, and my dad having a stroke, I wasn’t very prepared for this convention.  Thus, I’ll be offering my services at a lower than normal price.  All commission prices will be lowered and I’ll be taking requests all 3 days!  

Also, if you follow me on tumblr, and saw this ad and come to my booth…  if you turn to anyone near by and say “I’m Commander Shepard and this is my favorite booth at the expo!”  I will give you a 15% discount at my booth, and a free sketch of whatever you want!

you know this lineart probably would’ve been done faster if I didn’t line it in 3 different programs because I couldn’t decide which one was best.  I think I’m just going to stick with SAI for lineart…

some works in progress.  90% of the time when I draw armor/technology… I have no idea what is going on… LINES..LINES EVERYWHERE. I want to draw all the DA companions in the ME universe… of course.. I’ll probably never finish this project.

Back in college, I did an art project where I asked my friends to hold up large (I wish I made them even larger but I was poor) signs with their facebook statuses on it.

The project was about how we are so open to sharing personal details online to acquaintances and possibly strangers.  A lot of people agreed to do it (although not many actually participated because of scheduling constraints) but little did they know I would choose their most recent oddest status updates.  Surprisingly not a lot of them were weird.  They were all still a little bit to very embarrassed to hold up the signs in public. 

To this day, it was my favorite project.  It was a lot of fun and maybe when I have access to a large printer again (and more money), I’ll start it back up.

I’m having some major issues with this, perspective and anatomy wise.. also Aria has too many belts.. I can’t imagine what it’d be like to draw final fantasy character.
